Fujiyama Power Systems Limited has approved the acquisition of an additional 31% equity stake in Zayo Energy Private Limited (ZEPL) and Zayo Cables Private Limited (ZCPL), increasing its shareholding in both entities to 50%. The decision was cleared by the company’s Board of Directors at a meeting held on April 25, 2026.
Following the transaction, ZEPL and ZCPL will be classified as associate companies of Fujiyama Power Systems. The move is aimed at strengthening the company’s supply chain through backward integration.
ZEPL, incorporated on May 25, 2022, manufactures key solar panel components including EVA sheets, junction boxes and backsheets. ZCPL, incorporated on June 14, 2024, produces electronic and electrical wires and cables, including insulated products made from steel, copper and aluminium. Both companies operate exclusively in India and reported nil turnover in the latest financial year.
Fujiyama Power Systems stated that the acquisitions are aligned with its core business and are expected to create operational and strategic synergies. The transactions are being executed on an arm’s length basis, with no involvement or interest from any promoter, promoter group or group company in either ZEPL or ZCPL.
