Waaree Energies signs PPA with SECI for 300 MW wind project
Waaree Energies Limited has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) through its wholly-owned step-down subsidiary, Waaree Forever Energies Four Private Limited, for a 300 MW wind power project in Dwarka, Gujarat. The agreement was executed on May 6, 2026.
The PPA establishes the offtake arrangement for the project and follows the company’s earlier disclosure on February 24, 2026, regarding the award of the project.
In its earlier filing, Waaree Forever Energies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies, had received a Letter of Award from SECI for development of the 300 MW wind project in Dwarka, Gujarat.
The execution of the PPA marks progress in the project’s implementation and reflects Waaree Energies’ expansion into the wind energy segment alongside its solar business.
