Envision Energy has begun production at its blade manufacturing plant in Kalyangadh, Bavla Taluka, Gujarat, with an annual capacity of 2 GW. The facility will be able to produce up to 1,500 blades each year using six moulds.
The plant will supply blades for 3.3 MW and 5 MW wind turbine platforms. It is expected to support more than 4 GW of wind projects across over 10 sites in five districts of Gujarat. By mid-2027, when fully operational, the facility is projected to create about 400 direct and indirect jobs.
In June 2025, Envision Energy India’s wind turbine model EN-182/5.0 50 Hz TC was included in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (Wind). The company is a subsidiary of China-based Envision Energy.
Envision Energy India holds an estimated 45 per cent share of the domestic wind market and has an order book of nearly 15 GW across 60 projects in six states.
