RMC Switchgears Limited reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 401.59 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, registering a year-on-year growth of 26.40%, according to a stock exchange filing.
The company recorded consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of Rs 47.10 crore during FY26, while profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 22.45 crore.
For the fourth quarter of FY26, revenue from operations reached Rs 142.94 crore. EBITDA for the quarter was Rs 17.63 crore and PAT came in at Rs 9.30 crore. The quarterly performance marked a sharp turnaround from the loss of Rs 7.07 crore reported in Q3 FY26.
Gross profit during Q4 FY26 rose 6% to Rs 31.61 crore from Rs 29.81 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Gross margin improved by 412 basis points to 22.11%, while EBITDA margin expanded by 228 basis points to 12.34%.
For the full year, gross profit remained largely unchanged at Rs 95.06 crore. EBITDA margin declined by 475 basis points to 11.73%, while PAT margin fell by 413 basis points to 5.59%. The company attributed the pressure on profitability to higher commodity prices, currency fluctuations, global supply chain challenges, and geopolitical uncertainties.
Managing Director Ashok Kumar Agarwal said the company’s recovery in the second half of FY26 was supported by improved project execution, tighter cost management, a better project mix, and operational efficiencies. He added that the company is positioned to benefit from investments in power distribution modernisation, renewable energy expansion, and smart metering deployment across India.
