Waaree Energies FY26 profit doubles; plans Rs 10,000 crore raise

Waaree Energies Limited reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 26,536.77 Crores for FY26, up 83.72%, with Profit After Tax rising 101.45% to Rs 3,884.15 Crores. Operating EBITDA increased 117.10% to Rs 5,908.64 Crores, while Q4 revenue stood at Rs 8,480.25 Crores with PAT of Rs 1,126.26 Crores. The company approved a fund raise of up to Rs 10,000 Crores and expansion into semiconductors through acquisition of Waaree Semicon Private Limited. It also advanced manufacturing capacity with a 10 GW ingot and wafer facility in Nagpur and 3 GW module expansion in Gujarat.

Adani Power Q4 profit jumps 64%; FY26 growth remains muted

Adani Power reported Q4 FY26 net profit of Rs 4,271 crore, up 64.3% year-on-year, while full-year PAT rose 1.7% to Rs 12,971 crore. Q4 revenue stood at Rs 14,223 crore, and FY26 revenue declined 1.3% to Rs 53,781 crore amid subdued demand growth of 0.8%. Continuing EBITDA for the year remained stable at Rs 21,285 crore. Installed capacity reached 18,150 MW, with over 90% tied under PPAs and additional agreements signed during the year.

Karnataka High Court stays key CERC DSM 2024 provisions

The High Court of Karnataka stayed Regulations 6(2)(b) and 8(4) of the CERC DSM Regulations, 2024, which revised deviation charges and tightened deviation bands. The interim order followed a petition by NSEFI and renewable energy generators challenging the legality and consultation process. The court directed that deviation charges continue under the earlier DSM Regulations, 2014. The stay applies until the next hearing.

AERB grants operating licence to NFC-Kota fuel facility

The Atomic Energy Regulatory Board granted an operating licence to Nuclear Fuel Complex-Kota for manufacturing fuel bundles for 700 MWe PHWRs. The facility has an annual capacity of 500 metric tonnes of natural uranium dioxide fuel bundles. The licence is valid until April 30, 2031, and follows safety assessments under a Tier-I review. The plant supports fuel supply for reactors including Kakrapar and Rawatbhata.

Kudankulam Unit-3 enters reactor-stage commissioning with key system milestone

NPCIL initiated the “Spillage to Open Reactor” process for Unit-3 of Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project on April 25, 2026. The step enables system cleaning and functional testing for the 1000 MW unit. The project involves collaboration with ASE under Russia’s Rosatom. Once Units 3 to 6 are completed, total site capacity is expected to reach 6,000 MW.

NCT sets standard timelines for ISTS project execution

The National Committee on Transmission approved standard timelines for ISTS projects ranging from 24 months for substations to 48–54 months for HVDC systems. The framework is based on CTUIL analysis showing 56 out of 63 delayed projects could have been timely with longer planning horizons. Additional 6–12 months has been allowed for difficult terrains and urban constraints. The matrix will apply to all future ISTS schemes.

ACME Solar commissions additional BESS capacity in Rajasthan

ACME Solar commissioned 35.714 MW / 160.512 MWh under its BESS project at Jaimalsar, Bikaner, with COD of May 1, 2026. Total commissioned capacity at the site has reached 175.223 MW / 787.387 MWh. The expansion builds on earlier progress disclosed on April 13, 2026. The project supports grid stability and renewable integration.

Dalmia Cement to acquire stake in hybrid RE project in Andhra Pradesh

Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited will acquire a 41% stake, representing 26% on a fully-diluted basis, in Oyster Green Hybrid Five Private Limited for Rs 17.35 Crores. The project includes 21.6 MW wind and 14 MWp solar capacity in Andhra Pradesh. The power will be used for captive consumption at its Kadapa plant. The transaction is expected to close within four months.

Bondada Engineering wins Rs 125 crore BOS orders for Khavda solar project

Bondada Engineering secured orders worth Rs 125.30 Crores for BOS supply and services for a 75 MW solar project at Khavda, Gujarat. The orders were awarded by Adani Green Energy Limited, Adani Ports & SEZ Limited, and Ambuja Cements Limited. Execution is scheduled within three months. The company’s cumulative executed solar capacity for the Adani Group has reached 725 MW.

Bajel Projects secures 500 kV transmission EPC order in MENA

Bajel Projects Limited won an EPC contract for two sections of a 500 kV transmission line in the MENA region. The order falls under the “Ultra-Mega” category of Rs 400 Crores and above. The project is part of a national grid reinforcement programme and will be executed in 11 months. The company also operates in the region through a joint venture with Al Sharif Group.

Ravindra Energy Q4 generation surges; EV unit posts loss

Ravindra Energy Limited reported Q4 FY26 renewable generation of 78.3 million kWh, up from 16.0 million kWh year-on-year, with full-year generation at 228.9 million kWh. Its EV division recorded revenue of €1,805.9 million but posted a net loss of €152.9 million, with Q4 revenue at €1,011.0 million. The charging network dispensed 2.93 million kWh and includes 22 swapping stations and 6 chargers. The company plans corridor-based charging expansion in FY27.

BlackRock trims stake in PTC India via open market sale

BlackRock reduced its stake in PTC India Limited from 3.35% to 3.07% through sale of 8,31,417 shares on April 17, 2026. Post-transaction holding stands at 90,84,896 shares out of total voting capital of 29,60,08,321 shares. The disclosure was made under SEBI SAST Regulations, 2011. BlackRock is not part of the promoter group and holds no encumbered shares.
