ACME Solar Holdings Limited has commissioned an additional tranche of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Rajasthan, expanding its operational energy storage capacity.

In a regulatory filing dated April 29, 2026, the company said its wholly-owned subsidiary, ACME Surya Power Private Limited, has commissioned 35.714 MW / 160.512 MWh at its BESS facility in Jaimalsar, Bikaner district, Rajasthan. The Commercial Operation Date (COD) for this tranche is May 1, 2026.

Following this addition, the total commissioned capacity at the project site has reached 175.223 MW / 787.387 MWh. The update builds on the company’s earlier disclosure on April 13, 2026, regarding project progress.

The expansion of utility-scale battery storage supports grid stability and facilitates higher integration of renewable energy by addressing intermittency and balancing supply.
