NTPC commissions final 41.6 MW of 176 MW Ramagundam solar project

NTPC Limited has declared the commercial operation of the final 41.6 MW capacity of its 176 MW Solar Photovoltaic (PV) project at Ramagundam, Telangana, with effect from June 30, 2026. With the commissioning of the third and last part capacity, the entire 176 MW solar project is now commercially operational.

The project was commissioned in phases. The first 100 MW capacity achieved commercial operation on May 2, 2026, followed by the second phase of 34.4 MW on May 29, 2026. The remaining 41.6 MW has now been commissioned, completing the project.

Following the commissioning, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Group has increased to 90,899 MW, while its commercial capacity has reached 89,819 MW.
