REC PDCL incorporates SPV for pumped storage evacuation in Uttar Pradesh

REC Power Distribution Company Limited (REC PDCL) has incorporated a new special purpose vehicle (SPV) named Robertsganj Power Transmission Limited. The SPV will be responsible for the Transmission system for evacuation of power from Pumped Storage Projects in Sonbhadra district, Uttar Pradesh.
The incorporation took place on May 29, 2025.
REC PDCL has been appointed as the bid process coordinator (BPC) for selecting a transmission service provider (TSP) for the project. The selection will be carried out through the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process.
