ACME Solar raises Rs 2,800 crore through QIP

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has completed a qualified institutions placement (QIP) of equity shares, raising around Rs 2,800 crore, according to a stock exchange filing dated June 4, 2026.

The company’s Fund Raising Committee approved the allotment of 10,01,78,890 equity shares with a face value of Rs 2 each to eligible qualified institutional buyers at an issue price of Rs 279.50 per share, including a premium of Rs 277.50 per share.

The issue price includes a discount of Rs 14.63, or 4.97% of the floor price, in line with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements (ICDR) Regulations.

The QIP opened on June 1, 2026, and closed on June 4, 2026.

Major allottees

Among the key allottees, Nippon Life India Trustee Ltd – Nippon India Small Cap Fund received 16,848,128 shares, representing 16.82% of the issue size. HDFC Trustee Company Ltd – HDFC Flexi Cap Fund was allotted 16,108,228 shares, accounting for 16.08% of the issue.

SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd received 8,586,762 shares, representing 8.57% of the issue. SBI Large & Midcap Fund and SBI Dividend Yield Fund were allotted 7,477,639 shares and 7,477,638 shares, respectively, each accounting for about 7.46% of the issue size.

Kotak Small Cap Fund received 3,851,475 shares, while ICICI Prudential Equity & Debt Fund was allotted 4,372,093 shares.

Financial performance

ACME Solar reported a 59% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue for FY26, supported by capacity additions, higher generation, and operating performance.

Total consolidated revenue for the fiscal year rose to Rs 2,507 crore. Net profit increased 99% year-on-year to Rs 498 crore.
