ABB India Limited has received an order valued at Rs 173.55 crore from Siemens Gamesa Renewable Power Private Limited, Chennai. Â
The contract covers the manufacture and supply of 3.X wind turbine converters and electrical cabinets. Production will take place at ABB India’s Nelamangala facility in Karnataka, with deliveries scheduled monthly between January 2026 and December 2026.
ABB reported a 20.7 per cent decline in net profit to Rs 351.7 crore for Q1 FY26, even as revenue rose 12.2 per cent to Rs 3,175.4 crore. EBITDA fell 27 per cent to Rs 441 crore, and margins dropped to 13 per cent from 19.2 per cent a year earlier.
