Waaree Energies receives 800 MW solar module supply order

Waaree Energies Limited has informed stock exchanges that it received an order on June 15, 2026, for the supply of 800 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules.

According to the company’s disclosure, the order has been placed by a domestic entity described as a “renowned customer who is a leading energy solutions provider.”

The company said the order is a one-time supply contract scheduled for execution during the financial year 2026-27. Waaree stated that no promoter, promoter group, or group company has any interest in the customer, and the transaction does not qualify as a related party transaction.

Last month, Waaree Energies signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) through its wholly-owned step-down subsidiary, Waaree Forever Energies Four Private Limited, for a 300 MW wind power project in Dwarka, Gujarat. 

The company also reported a 101.45% year-on-year increase in profit after tax to Rs 3,884 crore on revenue of Rs 26,537 crore for FY26. For FY27, Waaree has guided for operating earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) in the range of Rs 7,000 crore to Rs 7,700 crore.
