After green fuels arm, Waaree adds clean mobility subsidiary
Waaree Energies Limited has incorporated a new step-down subsidiary, WH Clean Mobility Systems Private Limited, to expand its presence in clean mobility solutions based on clean fuels and battery technologies.
The company was incorporated on August 4, 2026, with the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai. Waaree Energies received the Certificate of Incorporation on August 6, 2026.
New subsidiary
WH Clean Mobility Systems Private Limited has been incorporated through Waaree Clean Energy Solutions Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, which holds 100% of the new company’s share capital.
The new entity has been established to undertake business activities related to mobility solutions using clean fuels and batteries. It will operate in the hydrogen business segment.
As the company has only recently been incorporated, it has not commenced commercial operations and its turnover is currently nil.
Shareholding
Waaree Energies said the incorporation does not constitute a related-party transaction. Since the entity has been newly incorporated, acquisition-related disclosures, including consideration and acquisition cost, are not applicable. The company also stated that none of its promoters, promoter group or group companies has any interest in the new subsidiary.
The incorporation follows Waaree Energies’ recent formation of WH Clean Fuels Private Limited, another step-down subsidiary established to undertake projects related to green hydrogen and green ammonia.
