Vikram Solar secures 336 MW module order from L&T

Vikram Solar has received an order to supply 336 megawatts (MW) of solar modules to L&T Construction. The modules will be deployed at Khavda, Gujarat, where the company has supplied earlier projects as well.
For this order, Vikram Solar will provide its Hypersol G12R modules built on N-type technology. The modules are designed with up to 80 per cent bifaciality, improved performance in high temperatures, and a year-on-year degradation rate of 0.4 per cent.
According to the company, use of G12R modules is expected to improve balance-of-system efficiency and reduce the levelised cost of energy for the project.
