The Government of Telangana has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEIL) to establish a 2,160 MW Pumped Storage Project (PSP) in the state.
The project entails an investment of Rs.110 billion and is expected to boost the state’s renewable energy capacity and infrastructure. The MoU was signed on January 21, 2025.
