NTPC Green adds 50 MW solar capacity in Bhuj

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) announced that a 50 MW portion of Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited’s 150 MW solar project at Bhuj, Gujarat, has commenced commercial operation from August 24, 2025.
Ayana Renewable Power Four is a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited, which is wholly owned by ONGC NTPC Green Private, a joint venture of ONGC and NTPC.
Following this addition, the total commercial capacity of the NGEL Group has reached 7,197.575 MW, and the total installed capacity has risen to 7,247.575 MW.
Earlier this month, NTPC Renewable Energy Limited declared 49.125 MW of capacity at the Khavda solar project in Bhuj commercially operational from August 22, 2025. In a disclosure dated August 19, 2025, NGEL stated that 212.5 MW of capacity from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited’s 1,255 MW Khavda-I solar photovoltaic project would be declared commercially operational from August 20, 2025.
