Centre cancels 11.4 GW renewable tenders

Central agencies have cancelled 11,400 MW of renewable energy tenders since April 2023 due to low participation, high tariffs, and withdrawal by end-procurers. Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy Shripad Yesso Naik said SECI, NTPC, NHPC, and SJVN issued the tenders.
