Foundation stone laid for NTPC’s Nabinagar power project in Bihar
The Prime Minister has laid the foundation stone for Stage-II of the Nabinagar Super Thermal Power Project in Aurangabad, Bihar. The expansion involves setting up 3×800 MW ultra-supercritical units, adding 2,400 MW to the existing capacity. The project is being developed by NTPC Limited at an estimated cost of Rs 299.48 billion.
