Skipper secures Rs 1,265 crore T&D orders
Skipper Limited has announced the receipt of new orders worth Rs 1,265 crore for domestic and international transmission and distribution (T&D) projects.
The orders include 765 kV and 400 kV transmission line projects awarded by a reputed domestic developer. The company has also secured orders for the supply of towers and monopoles for T&D projects in Latin American (LATAM) markets.
Commenting on the development, Sharan Bansal, Director of Skipper Limited, said the new orders reflect the company’s diversified T&D business model and strengthen its presence across domestic and international markets. He stated that the order wins demonstrate the company’s technical capabilities, execution record, and expanding customer base across geographies.
He added that the steady flow of new orders is supported by increasing investments in transmission infrastructure, grid expansion, and renewable energy integration in India and global markets.
Established in 1981, Skipper Limited is engaged in the manufacturing of T&D structures and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) operations in 765 kV transmission lines and substations. The company operates in more than 65 countries across Latin America, Europe, and Africa and ranks among the world’s largest manufacturers of T&D structures by manufacturing capacity.
