Sapher has partnered with the Punjab government to develop solar farms in high-potential locations such as Fazilka and Ferozepur. This initiative is being executed in collaboration with Punjab Generation Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Punjab Energy Development Agency.

In addition, five firms have received Letters of Award (LoAs) from Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) to set up a cumulative 31.37 MW grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) projects.
