SAEL Industries Limited has commissioned a 50 MW ground-mounted solar power plant in Beed, Maharashtra, through its subsidiary Solar RE Power.

The project features bifacial TOPCon modules and is backed by a 25-year power purchase agreement with the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited. It is expected to generate over 100 million kilowatt-hours of clean power each year.

The plant adds to SAEL’s solar portfolio, which now exceeds 6.7 GW of independent power producer assets across India.

Alongside its generation activities, the company has also launched farmer outreach sessions across its Agriculture Waste-to-Energy (AWE) plant sites. The program’s first phase engaged over 200 farmers in six locations across Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan.
