Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has proposed the merger of 17 Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) subsidiaries, set up under the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route, into two existing TBCB subsidiaries.
Under Part 1 of the plan, five subsidiaries will be amalgamated into Vataman Transmission Limited. These include:
