Power Mech wins EPC orders for Adani thermal projects

Power Mech Projects Limited has informed stock exchanges that it has secured large-scale contracts exceeding Rs 1,000 crore. The orders were awarded by two subsidiaries of Adani Power Limited and relate to erection, testing, and commissioning activities for ultra-supercritical thermal power projects located in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
In a regulatory filing dated February 18, 2026, the company stated that the combined value of the contracts is above Rs 1,000 crore, excluding GST and other applicable taxes. The allocation includes Rs 515 crore for work at the Mirzapur Thermal Energy project and Rs 490 crore for the Mahan Energen project.
The scope covers onsite erection, testing, commissioning, and manpower support for performance guarantee testing. The contracts include Steam Generator (Package A) and Steam Turbine Generator (Package B) for two 800 MW units at each site. The Mirzapur assignment relates to units 1 and 2 of the 2×800 MW Mirzapur Phase-I Ultra Supercritical Thermal Power Project, while the Mahan assignment covers units 1 and 2 of the 2×800 MW Mahan Phase-III Ultra Supercritical Thermal Power Project.
Execution timelines for both projects are set at 36 months from the required erection start date, as specified in the respective Notices to Proceed issued by the client.
