The 17th Single Window Committee (SWC) meeting under the Odisha Renewable Energy Policy (OREP)-2022 has approved 15 renewable energy projects with a combined generation capacity of 1,675.5 MW and energy storage capacity of 502 MWh, according to the state Energy Department.

The approved projects involve a total investment of Rs 10,068.53 crore and cover multiple technologies, including solar, wind, pumped storage, agri-photovoltaic (agri-PV) systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

The meeting was chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Shri Vishal Dev, IAS, and attended by senior officials from Grid Corporation of Odisha Limited (GRIDCO), Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL), Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited (OHPC) and the Energy Department.
