Solarworld Energy Solutions appoints four independent directors
Solarworld Energy Solutions Limited (formerly Solarworld Energy Solutions Private Limited) has appointed four Non-Executive Independent Directors to its Board, effective May 1, 2026. The decision was approved at a board meeting held on the same day, with appointments subject to shareholder approval for a five-year term.
The newly appointed directors are Mr. Rajiv Gupta, Ms. Ritu Hastir, Mr. Subhash Kumar Changoiwala, and Mr. Upendra Goyal. Mr. Rajiv Gupta has over 35 years of experience in the power and renewable energy sector and has held senior roles within the NTPC Group, including Chief Executive Officer positions at NTPC Green Energy Limited and NTPC Renewable Energy Limited. Ms. Ritu Hastir has experience in logistics, shipping, and commercial operations, with prior roles at India Infrastructure & Logistics Private Limited and Arshiya Limited.
Mr. Subhash Kumar Changoiwala is a Chartered Accountant with more than 42 years of experience in accounts, finance, and taxation. Mr. Upendra Goyal has over four decades of experience in finance and corporate governance across multiple sectors, including oil and gas and engineering, and previously served as Executive Director (Finance) at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
