Om Power Transmission wins Rs 45 crore GETCO substation order

Om Power Transmission Limited has secured a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO) for a turnkey substation project worth Rs 44.95 crore, inclusive of GST.

The contract involves the supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of 220 kV and 66 kV equipment for the proposed 220 kV Jantral Air Insulated Substation (AIS). The scope includes complete execution of the AIS substation on a turnkey basis, along with associated civil works.

The project is scheduled for completion within 18 months from the date of the Letter of Award.

The order adds to Om Power Transmission’s presence in Gujarat’s transmission infrastructure segment. The company stated that GETCO has no connection with its promoter or promoter group, and the contract does not fall under related party transactions.
