Kirloskar Solar Technologies Private Limited has received a Letter of Award (LoA) worth Rs 483.85 million from NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited (NVVN), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, for setting up rooftop solar power projects across three Indian states.
The cumulative capacity of 11.77 MW will be deployed at various sites under the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and departments of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. The tender was floated by NVVN in August 2024 under Zone-7 of NTPC.
The scope of work includes design, engineering, testing, and all preparatory assessments such as roof/ground evaluation, water and power arrangements, and security. It also includes determining optimal solar capacity at each site and providing 10 years of comprehensive operation and maintenance.
The projects are to be commissioned within eight months from the date of LoA issuance.
