IREDA Q3 FY 2024-25 revenue rises 36% to Rs 1,699 crore

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) has reported strong year on year growth across financial and operational indicators in the third quarter of FY 2024-25.
For Q3 FY 2024-25, revenue from operations rose to Rs 1,698.99 crore, up 35.57% from Rs 1,253.20 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Profit before tax (PBT) increased to Rs 538.20 crore, compared to Rs 386.14 crore, marking a growth of 39.38%. Profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 425.37 crore, a 26.77% rise from Rs 335.54 crore.
Operational performance also showed broad based growth during the quarter. Loan sanctions reached Rs 13,226.81 crore, up 45.01% from Rs 9,121.11 crore, while loan disbursements increased by 25.27% to Rs 7,448.96 crore from Rs 5,946.45 crore. The loan book expanded to Rs 68,959.61 crore, reflecting a year on year growth of 36.34%. Net worth rose to Rs 9,842.07 crore, an increase of 20.99% over the previous year. Earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter stood at Rs 1.58, compared to Rs 1.38 in Q3 FY 2023-24.
Commenting on the results, Shri Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of IREDA, said the performance reflected the company’s role in financing India’s transition to sustainable energy. He stated that growth in loan sanctions, disbursements, and the overall portfolio demonstrated IREDA’s continued focus on the renewable energy sector, while strong profitability and financial position would enable further support for national green energy objectives.
