INOX Air Products signs nitrogen supply deal with INA Solar

INOX Air Products (INOXAP) has signed a 15-year agreement with Insolation Green Energy (INA Solar), a wholly owned subsidiary of Insolation Energy Ltd, to supply ultra-high purity (UHP) nitrogen to the company’s 4.5 GW solar cell manufacturing facility under development in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh.

Under the contract, INOXAP will supply UHP nitrogen at 2,400 Nm3/hour through a dedicated pipeline. The company will invest in pipeline infrastructure connecting its existing air separation unit (ASU) in Narmadapuram to the solar cell manufacturing facility to ensure a continuous supply of nitrogen.

According to INOXAP, the dedicated pipeline will provide a reliable and consistent flow of high-purity nitrogen required to maintain quality standards in solar cell manufacturing.

Diganta Sarma, Head – Strategy & Business Development, INOX Air Products, said the agreement will enable the company to leverage its existing capabilities in Narmadapuram while investing in dedicated pipeline infrastructure to support the supply of ultra-high purity nitrogen for solar cell manufacturing.
