GE Vernova to supply 43 wind turbines for Enfinity Global’s Rajasthan project
GE Vernova Inc. has signed an agreement with Enfinity Global to supply 43 onshore wind turbines for the Fatehgarh Wind Farm in Rajasthan, strengthening the companies’ collaboration in India’s expanding wind energy market.
Under the agreement, GE Vernova will supply 43 units of its 3.8 MW–154m onshore wind turbine. The scope of work includes turbine supply and installation, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Project
The Fatehgarh Wind Farm forms part of Enfinity Global’s growing renewable energy portfolio in India. The company currently has a 4 GW renewable portfolio in the country, with around 300 MW already operational.
Enfinity Global is developing projects across solar, wind and energy storage segments to meet rising electricity demand in India.
Manufacturing
The turbines for the project will be manufactured at GE Vernova’s Pune facility, which has an annual manufacturing capacity of up to 1,500 MW and serves as a key part of the company’s ‘Make in India’ strategy.
GE Vernova said it will also leverage its domestic manufacturing and engineering network, including the Bengaluru Technology Center and the Vadodara blade plant, to support India’s target of achieving 100 GW of installed wind capacity by 2030.
The 3.8 MW–154m turbine is certified under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM).
