Fujiyama commissions 2 GW power electronics plant in Ratlam
Fujiyama Power Systems Limited has commissioned a 2 GW power electronics manufacturing facility at Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, expanding its manufacturing capacity for rooftop solar products. The facility is part of the company’s greenfield manufacturing complex and follows the commissioning of its 2 GW solar module manufacturing plant at the same location in May 2026.
Capacity expansion
The new plant will manufacture solar inverters, UPS systems and other power electronics products used in rooftop solar systems.
With the commissioning of the Ratlam facility, Fujiyama’s total power electronics manufacturing capacity has increased to 4.2 GW. The company said the expansion will strengthen its ability to meet growing demand in the rooftop solar market while improving manufacturing integration.
Construction of a battery manufacturing facility at the Ratlam complex is also progressing as planned.
Commenting on the development, Chairman and Joint Managing Director Mr. Pawan Kumar Garg said, “The commissioning of our power electronics manufacturing facility at Ratlam represents another important milestone in Fujiyama’s growth journey. As demand for rooftop solar solutions continues to grow across India, strengthening our manufacturing capabilities in power electronics enables us to deliver reliable, high quality products while improving operational efficiencies and supply chain integration.”
