Emmvee Energy, a subsidiary of Emmvee Photovoltaic Power, has signed a long term agreement to supply 4.5 GWp of tunnel oxide passivated contact solar cells to a domestic buyer. The contract will run from December 2025 to December 2030. The company said the deal was concluded on an arm’s length basis with no promoter involvement.

The agreement comes as Emmvee accelerates its manufacturing expansion. The company recently paid Rs 2.12 billion to the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board for land in Devanahalli, Bengaluru, where it plans a 6 GW integrated solar cell and module facility. The site will support high efficiency tunnel oxide passivated contact cell production and strengthen domestic supply.

Emmvee operates about 7.8 GWp of solar module capacity and about 2.94 GWp of cell capacity. The new contract is expected to support scale up as demand for advanced n type solar technologies grows. The Devanahalli project is backed by an Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency loan of Rs 33.06 billion and Rs 29 billion raised through its listing. Work on the site has begun.

The manufacturer aims to reach 16.3 GW of module capacity and 8.94 GW of cell capacity by the first half of financial year 2028, with a focus on tunnel oxide passivated contact technology.
