Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) has signed agreements worth Rs 5 billion with various international and Indian organisations at the India Energy Week 2025 to drive large-scale energy efficiency initiatives.
EESL has partnered with the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle Joint Business Council (IMT-GT JBC), Green Growth Asia Foundation (GGAF), and IIT Hyderabad to develop energy-efficient solutions across multiple sectors.
These agreements target key areas such as energy-efficient lighting, clean cooking solutions, space heating, renewable energy, electric mobility, cooling technologies, and consultancy services.
EESL has also signed agreements to implement Solar Power Micro Cold Storage Solutions (SPMCS) with the HP Nursery Management Society under the Department of Horticulture, Himachal Pradesh, as well as with Susag Millet Producer Company Limited and Giri Siri Tribal Farmers Producer Organisation through ESAF, Andhra Pradesh. These projects aim to provide farmers with sustainable, energy-efficient storage solutions, reducing post-harvest losses and cutting carbon emissions from agricultural produce.
EESL, a joint venture of Central PSUs under the Ministry of Power, is driving innovation in energy efficiency across India.
