ACME Solar secures 300 MW LOA from SECI under FDRE-IX tender
ACME Solar Holdings Limited has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for 300 MW of contracted capacity under the government agency’s Assured Peak Power Tender (FDRE-IX).
The awarded capacity forms part of SECI’s larger 6,000 MWh (1,500 MW × 4 Hours) tender for interstate transmission system-connected renewable energy projects. The projects were selected through tariff-based competitive bidding, with ACME Solar securing a tariff of Rs 6.00 per kWh for assured peak power for the full tenure of the power purchase agreement.
Supply timeline
Under the terms of the award, the scheduled commencement of supply date is 18 months from the signing of the PPA. The project will have a tenure of 25 years thereafter.
The LOA has been awarded by a domestic entity. ACME Solar has confirmed that there are no related-party interests or promoter group involvement with the awarding authority and has made the disclosure on a voluntary basis.
