Waaree Renewable Technologies secures 210 MWp solar EPC contract
Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL), a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, has secured a turnkey Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for a 210 MWp (150 MWac) grid-connected ground-mount solar project from Solaris Horizon Energy Private Limited (SHEPL). The contract also includes two years of operation and maintenance (O&M) services and is scheduled to be completed during FY 2027-28.
The order was received on August 5, 2026.
Project scope
Under the contract, WRTL will undertake the complete development of the solar project, including engineering, procurement and construction, followed by two years of O&M services.
The project has been awarded by SHEPL, a step-down subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited.
WRTL said the contract qualifies as a related party transaction because the project developer, SHEPL, is a step-down subsidiary of its parent company, Waaree Energies Limited. The company stated that the transaction has been undertaken on an arm’s length basis.
The order further expands WRTL’s utility-scale solar EPC portfolio. The company provides solar EPC services and undertakes renewable energy project development as part of the Waaree Energies group.
