Waaree Energies Limited announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Solar Americas, has secured a 452 MW solar module supply order from a leading United States-based developer of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.
The order, dated 26 August 2025, will be executed during the financial years 2025-26 and 2026-27. Waaree confirmed that the contract is a one-time agreement and involves only the supply of modules. The name of the customer was not disclosed, but it has been described as a well-established player in the US renewable energy market.
According to the company’s disclosure to stock exchanges, the order was placed by an international entity, and there is no involvement by promoters or related parties.
The development strengthens Waaree’s international presence, with the US continuing to be a major growth market for large-scale solar deployment.
Previous month, Waaree started production at its new solar module manufacturing plant in Chikhli, located in Gujarat’s Navsari district, adding 1.8 GW to the company’s annual module output.
