Waaree Energies Limited has secured an order to supply up to 600 MWp of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules to a leading Indian renewable energy developer.
The delivery of these high-efficiency modules is scheduled to commence in the fiscal year 2025–2026.
Recently, Waaree secured a 180 MWp module supply agreement.
Inox Wind (IWL) has received a letter of intent (LoI) from IGREL Renewables to execute 550 MW of wind capacity on a turnkey basis. ArcelorMittal Brazil has announced contracts to develop two solar energy projects with a combined capacity of 465 MW, covering 14% of its electricity needs. The first project, in partnership with Casa dos Ventos, involves a 200 MW solar power plant in Bahia. Solar technology developer Lightsource bp has announced a partnership with Germany-based renewables developer Kajoni Energie to develop more than 500MW of utility-scale solar projects in Germany. The collaboration will focus on projects of at least 20MW, with development expected to occur over the next two to three years.
