Waaree acquires 76% stake in Racemosa Energy for Rs 53 crore

Waaree Energies Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Power Private Limited (WPPL), has signed a definitive share subscription and shareholders’ agreement to acquire a 76 per cent stake in Racemosa Energy (India) Private Limited. The aggregate consideration for the transaction is approximately Rs 53 crore.
The company stated that the acquisition, disclosed earlier on September 18, 2025, is subject to the fulfilment of conditions precedent. The deal is expected to close in the financial year 2025-26.
