Voith Hydro Private Limited has secured a contract valued at Rs 1,647.5 million for executing electromechanical (E&M) works for the Mankulam Hydro Electric Project in Kerala. The tender was issued by Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) in March 2024.
The contract involves the completion of E&M works within two years.
Located in Devikulam taluk of Idukki district, the Mankulam HEP – Phase I has an installed capacity of 40 MW and an estimated annual generation potential of 82 million units (MU). The project is targeted for commissioning in 2025–26.
