Transrail secures Rs 459 crore transmission orders in MENA region
Transrail Lighting Limited has secured fresh international orders worth approximately Rs 459 crore, primarily in its transmission and distribution (T&D) business. The orders comprise engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects for transmission lines in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The company said the orders were received in the normal course of business and further strengthen its international order book.
Order inflow
With the latest wins, Transrail’s total order inflow for the current financial year has reached Rs 1,034 crore. In addition, the company holds the lowest bidder (L1) position for projects worth around Rs 400 crore.
The company said it continues to maintain a healthy bidding pipeline across domestic and international markets, supporting its long-term growth plans.
Recent outlook
Transrail Lighting outlined its growth plans for the T&D business, which contributes around 90% of the company’s total revenue, during its earnings call held on May 27, 2026. The company projected revenue growth of 20% to 22% in FY27, supported by an unexecuted order book of approximately Rs 16,361 crore, including L1 orders.
Transrail also said the domestic T&D bidding pipeline is estimated at Rs 80,000 crore to Rs 1,00,000 crore, while the international pipeline stands at around Rs 50,000 crore. The company expects to secure a market share of 10% to 12% from these opportunities.
