Toyota Tsusho India Private Limited (TTIPL) and CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions Private Limited have signed an agreement to jointly develop a 300 MW renewable energy (RE) project in India. The agreement was signed on June 30, 2025.
The project will be executed by a joint venture (JV) formed between TTIPL and CleanMax and is scheduled for commissioning by March 2028.
The JV aims to offer customised RE solutions, including rooftop solar installations, ground-mounted solar or wind projects, and wind-solar hybrid systems. It will also provide carbon credits. The electricity generated will be supplied to Indian and Japanese corporations operating in India through long-term Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPAs).
