Three firms win 600 MW contracts under SECI’s solar Tranche-XVIII

Three companies secured contracts totalling 600 MW for the development of 1,000 MW Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-Connected Solar Power Projects under Tranche-XVIII. 

• ReNew Solar Power Private Limited (ReNew Power Ventures Private Limited) won 250 MW with a tariff of Rs 3.04 per kWh.
• ACME Solar Holdings Private Limited secured 300 MW with a tariff of Rs 3.05 per kWh.
• Adani Renewable Energy Holding Twelve Limited (Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL)) won 50 MW with a tariff of Rs 3.1 per kWh.

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) invited Request for Selection (RfS) bids for this project in September 2024.

The project requires the developers to set up 1,000 MW ISTS-connected solar power projects on a build, own, and operate (BOO) basis, including a dedicated transmission network up to the interconnection/delivery point for power supply to SECI.
