Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd. has expanded the value of its existing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for a 980 MWp / 700 MWac solar power project by Rs 27.22 crore. The company received formal confirmation of the scope enhancement on November 10, 2025.
In a regulatory filing, Waaree stated that the revised contract now totals Rs 1017.82 crore, inclusive of taxes. The company clarified that the expansion applies to an ongoing turnkey EPC project originally announced on February 20, 2024. Core contractual terms and conditions remain unchanged.
The EPC order was placed by a domestic renewable energy developer. Waaree noted that the transaction does not involve any related party and that its promoters hold no interest in the awarding entity. The revised execution schedule for the expanded scope will be determined jointly by both parties.
