Kovalam Investment approves solar projects in Madhya Pradesh

The Board of Directors (BoD) of Kovalam Investment and Trading Company Limited has approved an investment for setting up decentralised solar power projects in Madhya Pradesh.  The decentralised solar power projects would be set up under component A of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) scheme of Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) in the state.

Carbon Minus wins Rs 39.6 billion contracts for solar projects in Maharashtra

Carbon Minus Energy Private Limited has secured contracts worth Rs 39.6 billion from Maharashtra State Power Generation Corporation (MSPGCL) and Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for developing 904 MW of decentralized solar power projects across the state. HAREDA awards contracts for 17,458 solar pumps under PM KUSUM

The Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA) has awarded contracts for the supply, installation, and commissioning of 17,458 solar water pumping systems under Component B of the PM KUSUM programme.  Leading recipients include Shakti Pumps with 3,174 units, AVI Appliances with 2,811, and Oswal Pumps with 2,539. Haryana DISCOM floats tender for 27 MW solar projects

Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has issued a tender for 26.75 MW of decentralised, ground-mounted, grid-connected solar projects under Component A of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM KUSUM) program. Bids are due by November 25, 2024. The Haryana Power Purchase Centre (HPPC) will purchase power from the projects at a levelised tariff of Rs 3.11/kWh, with 25-year power purchase agreements signed with successful bidders on behalf of DHBVN.

AVVNL invites bids for 269 MW solar projects under PM KUSUM

Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (AVVNL) has issued a bid invitation for 269 MW of grid-connected solar projects under Component A of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM KUSUM) scheme. The submission deadline is set for November 29, 2024. This project includes the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and a 25-year operations and maintenance plan, with provisions for connecting the systems to 33/11 kV substations.
