NTPC plans 20,000 MW transmission project in Andhra Pradesh

NTPC Green Energy Limited has announced plans for a 20,000 MW transmission project in Andhra Pradesh.  This project is intended to support NTPC Green’s forthcoming green hydrogen hub, which will be developed across 647.49 hectares at Pudimadaka.  The transmission network will connect NTPC’s proposed solar project in Anantapur to the hydrogen hub, establishing a dedicated renewable energy (RE) system to facilitate the growth of green hydrogen production.

NTPC achieves fastest ever 300 BU generation milestone

VNG AG and HyCC to develop 500 MW green hydrogen electrolyser in Germany

Egypt and Hynfra to develop $1.6 billion green ammonia facility

Egypt’s General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) has partnered with Polish firm Hynfra to establish a green ammonia production facility with an initial investment of $1.6 billion.  The plant’s first phase will operate entirely on renewable energy, including solar and wind power.  Surplus electricity will feed Egypt’s national grid, while the facility exports green ammonia to the European Union under long-term agreements. The Union Minister for Power and Housing and Urban Affairs inaugurated NTPC’s Green Hydrogen Mobility Project in Leh.  It includes a 1.7 MW in-situ solar plant, a green hydrogen filling station with 80 kg/day capacity, and five intra-city hydrogen buses. Jakson Green delivers electrolysers for first green hydrogen refueling station
