Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited has reported major new orders and a strategic partnership with Adani Green Energy Limited. The company shared the update through a press release on 01 December 2025 and said the development strengthens its position in India’s renewable energy EPC market.
SWREL stated that it has received orders worth about Rs 1,381 crore, excluding taxes, for the Balance of System package for three solar projects in the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat. The scope includes the supply of goods and onsite services for projects inside one of the largest renewable parks in the world.
Alongside the orders, SWREL has signed a five year Strategic Partnership Framework Agreement with Adani Green Energy. The agreement sets up a long term supply arrangement that will support Adani Green’s future renewable energy buildout across India.
Chandra Kishore Thakur, Global CEO of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group, said this is the company’s largest domestic EPC win of the fiscal year. He added that the partnership highlights SWREL’s execution abilities at a gigawatt scale. With the new orders, the company’s inflows for the fiscal year have crossed Rs 6,450 crore. SWREL is already working on about 6 GW of projects in the Khavda region.
In November, the company also secured a turnkey EPC contract for a 240 MW AC solar PV project in South Africa valued at about Rs 1,313 crore or USD 147 million.
