iNVERGY commissions 3 GWh BESS gigafactory in Uttar Pradesh
iNVERGY India Private Limited has inaugurated a fully automated battery energy storage system (BESS) gigafactory in Dasna, Uttar Pradesh, with an annual manufacturing capacity of 3 GWh and an investment of more than Rs 200 crore.
The facility spans 217,000 square feet and will manufacture BESS units, lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery packs, solar inverters, and integrated energy storage systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale renewable energy applications.
Manufacturing and technology
According to the company, the plant incorporates automated production lines, artificial intelligence (AI)-based battery management systems, internet of things (IoT)-enabled remote monitoring, and advanced quality control systems.
The facility will manufacture on-grid, hybrid, and off-grid solar inverters, along with BESS products ranging from 5 kWh to 5 MWh capacity.
Parent company performance
The commissioning follows financial growth reported by GP Eco Solutions India Limited, the parent company of iNVERGY.
For FY2025-26, the company reported consolidated revenue of Rs 418 crore, representing growth of around 69% compared to the previous year. Net profit increased to Rs 40.1 crore from Rs 10 crore in FY25.

Deepak Pandey, Founder and Managing Director of iNVERGY, stated that the commissioning of the BESS gigafactory reflects the company’s focus on supporting India’s renewable energy transition through energy storage solutions.
Astik Mani Tripathi, Co-Founder and Director, stated that the investment is intended to support innovation, long-term growth, employment generation, and technology development.
