Marsons receives Rs 31.27 crore transformer order from AEGCL

Marsons Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) valued at approximately Rs 31.27 crore, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), from Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Limited (AEGCL) for the supply of power transformers and associated services.

According to the company’s stock exchange filing, the order covers the supply of 132/33 kV, 50 MVA power transformers for the Durlavcherra, Karimganj, and Srikona substations of AEGCL under Package T-3.

The scope of work also includes related services associated with the transformer supply. The contract is scheduled to be executed within 12 months.

Marsons stated that the LoI has been awarded by a domestic entity and confirmed that neither the promoter, promoter group, nor group companies have any interest in AEGCL.

The company also stated that the transaction does not qualify as a related party transaction.

Earlier, in May 2026, Marsons received a Letter of Award and Purchase Order valued at Rs 298.5 million, equivalent to around USD 3.1 million, from a United States-based solar energy developer for the supply of a 200 MVA, 115 kV power transformer.
