Servotech Renewable secures 2.58 MW rooftop solar project

Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd. has received a contract for a 2.58 MW grid-connected rooftop solar project from the South Eastern Railway, Ranchi Division. 

Under the agreement, Servotech will handle the complete execution of the on-grid rooftop solar PV system, including design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning across multiple sites in the Ranchi Division.

Commenting on the development, Sarika Bhatia, Director of Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd., said the project underscores Indian Railways’ continued confidence in the company’s technical expertise. She added that Servotech will deploy its high-performance solar technology to support the South Eastern Railway’s clean energy transition and help set new benchmarks for sustainability in the transport sector.

The project strengthens Servotech’s association with Indian Railways and aligns with the rail network’s broader goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions through renewable energy adoption.
