RECPDCL invites bids for Devanahalli and Hosakote transmission projects in Karnataka

REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited, has issued Request for Proposal bids for selection of transmission service providers through tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) for two intra-state transmission projects in Karnataka.

The first scheme involves establishing a 2 x 150 MVA, 220/66/11 kV gas insulated station at Devanahalli (New) in Bengaluru Rural district. It includes associated 220 kV and 66 kV connectivity elements, along with provisions for future expansion.

The second project covers the construction of a 2 x 150 MVA, 220/66/11 kV gas insulated station at Hosakote (New) in Hosakote taluk, Bengaluru Rural district. It also includes multiple 220 kV and 66 kV line terminations, interconnections, and space for future augmentation.

RECPDCL has not yet incorporated project-specific special-purpose vehicles for these schemes. The last date for bid submission is October 21, 2025.
