PTC India, MAHAPREIT sign MoU to explore renewable energy opportunities
PTC India Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT) to explore collaboration across renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure sectors.
MAHAPREIT is a subsidiary of Mahatma Phule Backward Class Development Corporation Limited (MPBCDC), a Government of Maharashtra undertaking.
Areas of collaboration
Under the MoU, the two organisations will jointly explore opportunities in renewable energy, green infrastructure, energy storage, green hydrogen, energy markets, power portfolio management, regulatory advisory and other sustainable energy solutions.
The partnership is aimed at identifying potential projects and business opportunities that support the transition towards cleaner energy systems.
MoU signing
The agreement was signed by Shri Bipin Shrimali, Managing Director, MAHAPREIT, and Dr Manoj Kumar Jhawar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), PTC India Limited.
Dr Deepak Kokate, Executive Director, MAHAPREIT, was also present during the signing ceremony.
